Liverpool set to miss out on youngster who prefers move to Bundesliga side
Premier League outfit Liverpool are set to miss out on PSV forward Donyell Malen, who reportedly prefers a move to Borussia Dortmund.
Malen has been a subject of speculations for the past few weeks, as his impressive performance, last season for PSV has not gone unnoticed.
He has also been impressing for Netherland at the ongoing Euro 2020 tournament.
Sky Germany reported last week that Liverpool are planning to hold talks with PSV over a deal to bring Malen to Anfield, but that might not see the light of the day.
According to Sport Bild, Donyell Malen has become Borussia Dortmund’s top target as they are planning to find a replacement for Jadon Sancho.
Reports claimed Manchester United are on the verge of sorting out a deal that will bring Sancho to the Premier League.
Dortmund have identified Malen as a perfect replacement for the England international and are willing to offer a deal worth around €25million (£21.5million).
Malen, who was under Arsenal cards some season ago, scored 27 goals in all competitions last season.
Liverpool will have to look elsewhere if they must sign a new player before the summer transfer window closes.
