Jurgen Klopp hints that star midfielder will flourish in 2021

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has given fans of the club a new hope for 2021 as he stated that former Barcelona midfielder Thiago Alcantara will flourish under his guidance.

Thiago Alcantara made the move to Anfield just months after winning the UEFA Champions League with Bayern Munich and have been putting in some impressive performance despite battling with injury.

The Spaniard has been showing his passing abilities during his short cameo as he already has made 184 passes in 152 minutes of football.

With Liverpool drawing twin consecutive matches against West Brom and Newcastle, Thiago Alcantara has been tipped to be the key to Liverpool’s midfield this season due to opposition sitting back.

Speaking about the future ahead of Thiago in Liverpool, Klopp stated that the midfielder was signed because the club thought he is a good player.

The German tactician stated that it’s obvious that Thiago is a super player as from the 20 minutes he has played, 12 were brilliant and then he felt the intensity, which is normal.

Jurgen Klopp added that Thiago had trained only twice around the team so there is still some physical work to do, still some rhythm for him to get before he gets to his best.

Thiago was signed in September from Bayern Munich and has made a name for himself in the world of football having started his career at Barcelona.
