Liverpool and Leicester City went head to head on Tuesday evening in an exciting match in the EPL.

The game ended in a loss for the Reds as the Foxes won in a 1-0 scoreline, thus widening the gap between Liverpool and league toppers Manchester City.

Reacting to Liverpool’s defeat, their German boss Jurgen Klopp in a post-match statement, said he is not worried about the six-point gap between his side and Manchester City at the top of the table.

Klopp admitted that Leicester City deserved their win on Tuesday night while pointing out while the Reds lost the game.

Highlights from the match showed the moment Mo Salah’s penalty was saved and his follow-up header hit the crossbar, while Sadio Mane scraped a one-on-one over the bar at the start of the second half.

Ademola Lookman would fire the winning goal for the Foxes when he burst into the box and fired past Alisson Becker at his near post.

Klopp told Amazon Prime Video: “It’s a big gap. But at this moment, the gap to City is not my problem.

“If we play football like this more often, then we don’t have to think about it [the title].

“If we play our football, our normal football, Liverpool football, then we have the chance to win a lot more football games and we will see where we end up. But for the moment, the gap is not my main problem.”
