Why it is not yet time for Tammy Abraham to worry about in the first team
Chelsea striker, Tammy Abraham has been linked with a likely departure in the coming summer transfer window if things doesn’t turnaround for good for him at Stamford Bridge.
Abraham has been linked with moves to Aston Villa.
It is believed that Abraham is not happy with the limited playing chances he is getting especially under Thomas Tuchel as manager at Chelsea.
He has fallen down the rank with the liked of Kai Havertz, Timo Werner and Olivier Giroud getting more chances ahead of him in Tuchel’s choice of strikers in recent weeks.
During the days of Frank Lampard at Stamford Bridge, Abraham had 16 appearance but so far under Tuchel he has gotten only 4.
Reacting to the report linking Abraham to Astton Villa, Tuchel in his statement urged him not to worry about getting into Chelsea’s first team.
Tuchel added that he needs to be fit first and take it step by step through good training performances.
”These are the next steps, but now is not the moment to worry about the first XI, as he has been out for many games, unfortunately too many games,” Tuchel said as quoted by Birmingham Live.
It is uncertain if this statement will make him stay put at Chelsea.
