France coach revealed he was not happy with the way Tuchel used this player
France National team coach, Didier Deschamps has expressed dissatisfaction in the way Chelsea new manager, Thomas Tuchel used N’golo Kante.
Recall that prior to Tuchel’s takeover from Frank Lampard in January, the French star was just recuperating from an injury.
Tuchel on his arrival limited the playing chances he gave to Kante as he preferred the duo of Mateo Kovacic and Jorginho instead.
In fact, a lot of football fans were at that point worried about what Tuchel was planning to do with Kante.
However, in the long run, it turned out to be that the former Paris Saint Germain PSG Manager wanted the world cup winner to heal properly before playing him more often.
Since gaining back his fitness, Kante has become a regular at Stamford Bridge.
However Deschamps in his statement explained he was “not unhappy” to see Kante missing games here and there to keep him fresh.
“I am not unhappy when Tuchel doesn’t start him every game,” the French coach told reporters ahead of France World Cup qualifying game against Ukraine.
He added that Kante’s injuries came due to his work rate.
“He does not save himself but he is like that, I will not go to change it. With a little explanation, he learns to manage himself,” he said.
