Former Chelsea and now Bayern Munich manager Thomas Tuchel is certain his team will defeat La Liga side Real Madrid when they meet in the second leg next week.

Recall that the UEFA Champions League returned on Tuesday night with Bayern Munich hosting the Los Blancos at the Allianz Arena.

The game ended in a 2-2 draw and both sides will meet again in the second leg next week.

Highlights from the match saw Brazil international, Vinicius Jr Real Madrid in the lead before goals from Leroy Sane and Harry Kane turned the game on its end.

However, Vinicius Jr was able to come through for Real Madrid after he scored a goal from the penalty spot late in the game.

In a post match statement the German side boss Thomas Tuchel told the press that “it’s still a 50-50 game, I’m sure. We want to go to Madrid, win and go to Wembley”.

Meanwhile, French side Paris Saint-Germain will go head to head with Bundesliga side Borussia Dortmund in the first leg of the other semifinal game in Germany on Wednesday.
