Tuchel confirms this player will start vs. Aston Villa

Chelsea will return to action this weekend in their last game for this season in the Premier League.

The Blues will make a short trip to Aston Villa in a game that could determine their spot in the top four on the log table.

Ahead of the match, Chelsea manager, Thomas Tuchel has confirmed that Andreas Christensen will start for the Blues against Aston Villa.

Tuchel revealed that Christensen was available for training on Thursday and Friday.

Chelsea are currently seated at the third position on the Premier League table with 67 points from 37 games.

“Andreas Christensen will be in the squad,” said Tuchel.

“He did full training today and also yesterday without any problems, so he will be back.”

The Blues will be heading to the game vs. Aston villa with a huge boost following their recent 2-1 win vs. Leicester City during the week.

The Blues will hope to win all three points to seal their spot in the top four.

After the match vs. Aston Villa, Chelsea will then focus on their Uefa Champions League final vs. Man City which is scheduled to be played in Porto, Portugal on the 29th of May.
