Trouble for Chelsea as this experienced defender will be unavailable vs. Atletico Madrid
Chelsea will return to action on Tuesday night when they come face to face with Spanish giants, Atletico Madrid in the Uefa Champions League.
The match is expected to be one of the most exciting matches this week and it is expected to be one of the most difficult for Chelsea under their new manager, Thomas Travel.
however, ahead of the match, Chelsea have suffered a huge set back as their experienced defender, Thiago Silva will be unavailable for the match.
That means Chelsea will have to do with the likes of Kurt Zouma, Ben Chilwell and the likes at the back.
It would ha have been a huge relief for the Blues if an experienced player like Silva was available for the clash vs. Madrid.
As not stands they will have to make do with the available players and try their best to put a tough defence against Madrid players especially Luiz Suarez.
Silva has been out Chelsea squad for a while as he has missed their last four games because of a muscle thigh injury.
Tuchel in a statement on Monday during a pre-match press revealed that the Brazilian international again will be missing from his squad.
‘He [Thiago Silva] is not available,” Tuchel said.
“He is training right now. We are leaving and he is not available.”
