Chelsea have been handed a transfer boost this summer transfer window as Leicester City midfielder, Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall has recent have the green light after a potential deal to move to Brighton fell through.

This update was shared by football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano in a tweet via his X handle on Friday.

According to Romano, Dewsbury-Hall is now ready to complete a transfer to the Premier League west London side this summer.

The transfer expert tweeted that Dewsbury-Hall has given his green light to Chelsea move after his formal step to inform Brighton about his deal collapsed earlier on Friday.

He added that the midfielder is keen on the move and personal terms were not an issue.

Romano added that talks are ongoing between clubs with players included; but in separate transaction.

It, however, uncertain if Chelsea will be willing to make a move for a midfielder this summer as their focus seems to be on signing a new centre back defender especially after Thiago Silva’s exit this summer.

Chelsea are also in the race for a new striker that can score goals and create competition for Nicolas Jackson who has struggled to impress at the club.
