Former Chelsea defender, Scott Minto in a recent statement suggested that the likes of Hakim Ziyech should leave Stamford Bridge immediately.

Minto made this known while reacting to the Blues’ recent defeat to Southampton on Tuesday night.

The game turned out to be the Blues’ second successive away loss of the season.

Chelsea had the leading goal before the Saints fired back with two goals.

Minto also thinks that the club will be looking to bring in more players in the final days of the transfer window.

“For me, Hakim Ziyech, it wouldn’t bother me if he didn’t play for Chelsea again.

“It was difficult for Christian Pulisic coming on but again, he’s another player who has flattered to deceive over the last 18 months or so,” Minto told Kick Off.

He added that Thomas Tuchel’s side need another central defender and a striker, describing the 2-1 defeat to Saints as disappointing for Chelsea.

Chelsea are now seated behind Southampton on the EPL table and will hope to bounce back when they face West Ham United this weekend.
