Tammy Abraham reacts to Chelsea loss vs. Leicester City
Chelsea player, Tammy Abraham has reacted to the game between the Blues and Leicester City in the FA Cup which ended in a 1-0 defeat.
Abraham in his statement stressed that the defeat hurts as he vowed that Chelsea will make a comeback in their next match.
While Thomas Tuchel didn’t start the England international during the game vs. Leicester City, he is however hoping to get playing chances in their remaining few matches.
Recall that Leicester defeated Chelsea 1-0 to claim their first-ever FA Cup trophy thanks to a goal from Youri Tielemans in the second-half.
Abraham admitted the result ‘hurts’ as he thanked fans for their support. “It hurts but we still have unfinished business,” the striker tweeted.
“Thank you for your support, good to have you back.”
Tuchel while speaking on why he didn’t start Abraham vs. the Foxes, Tuchel told Stadium Astro after the FA Cup final defeat: “No, it’s just hard decisions on a matchday when you can only nominate 18 players.”
Abraham could get a nod to start when Chelsea take on Leicester City in the Premier League on Tuesday, in a match that could define their stand on the log table.
