It is no longer news that Chelsea are focused on signing a new striker in the ongoing summer transfer window.

The recent report revealed that former Chelsea forward Tammy Abraham is up for consideration and could end up as the Blues target this summer.

According to the report, Chelsea owners led by Todd Boehly are focused on a move for a striker in the upcoming transfer window.

This comes as Nicolas Jackson has failed to impress at Stamford Bridge.

The Senegal star who the Blues signed from Villarreal 12 months ago managed to score 17 goals in his debut campaign across all competition

Chelsea are known to be unlucky when it comes to signing strikers as that area of the pitch has been an issue for the club for quite some time.

However, the club’s new management are determined to fix it in the summer transfer window especially as they are set to begin a new era under manager Enzo Maresca next season.

Recall that Tammy joined the Blues at under-eight level and made 82 senior appearances, with 30 goals during that time.
