Over the past few weeks, Chelsea have been linked with moves to sign Romelu Lukaku from Inter Milan as they hope to strengthen their attack.

The Blues owner, Roman Abramovich was reported to be willing to go to any length to ensure they can sign the Belgium international.

While former Chelsea coach, Antonio Conte was believed to be the stumbling block that could stop the deal from happen, however the latest happening at San Siro have shown that if the Blues press further, they would be able to bring back Lukaku to England.

This comes as Conte resigned as Inter Milan coach despite leading them to victory in the Italian Seria A, the Italian manager has now been linked to a return to England where he could take up a coaching job at Tottenham.

With Conte gone, it is believed that it comes with a better advantage for the Blues as they would be able to bring Lukaku on board if they can drop the right fee.

The reports revealed that Kepa Arrizabalaga, Callum Hudson-Odoi, Ross Barkley, Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Tammy Abraham are all considered to be surplus to the requirements at Stamford Bridge and could be sold to raise funds for the likes of Lukaku ahead of the 2021/22 campaign.
