Portugal international and Man Utd striker Cristiano Ronaldo may move towards football management once his current contract lapse at Old Trafford.

Recall that the Portugal star returned to Old Trafford from Juventus on a two-year deal over the recent summer transfer window.

However, the reports revealed he could be planning to play until the age of 40, after which he could take up a coaching job at Old Trafford.

According to The Sun, Ronaldo wants to spend the rest of his professional career with the Red Devils before taking a coaching position at the club.

The report claimed that the 36-year-old striker is determined to oversee the progress of his son, Cristiano Jr, who has commenced training with Man United’s youth side following his father’s return to Manchester.

Since his return, the Portuguese striker who once represented the Red Devils between 2003 and 2009 already has four goals in four appearances since returning to Old Trafford, including three goals in three Premier League games.

In another report, he is expected to start for Man Utd when they face Villarreal in their next match in the Uefa Champions League.
