Real Madrid closing in on a deal for this Chelsea forward

Spanish club Real Madrid seems to have progressed in the moves to sign Chelsea forward and Germany international Kai Havertz as the recent report claimed they are close to signing him.

It is no longer news that Chelsea would let more than ten of their players leave this summer and Havertz seems to be a part of those who the Blues are ready to let go.

Havertz is close to signing for the Los Blancos in a staggering €60 million deal, according to the German publication Bild (via El Nacional).

According to the report, the negotiations have moved past the preliminary stages and are nearing completion.

Havertz moved to Stamford Bridge back in 2020 in a deal worth €85 million and was Chelsea’s top scorer in the Premier League this season with seven goals.

Real Madrid are in the race to sign a new forward, following the departures of Karim Benzema, Marco Asensio, Mariano Diaz, Eden Hazard and Karim Benzema.
