Frank Lampard’s side are glancing persevering in their quest for Champions League football next season, beating Aston Villa 2-1 in their first game back, and have since overseen great triumphs over Manchester City and Leicester.

Expectation

Chelsea have seen West Ham as an extreme foe of late history. In their last five meetings, going back to late 2017, Chelsea have won only a single time.

There is by all accounts something about Chelsea that gets West Ham terminating on all cylinders. With the Hammers urgently needing a win, this could be the match where they might get lucky.

Expectation: West Ham 1-0 Chelsea
