Former Manchester United star, Gary Neville has sent a message to Chelsea star Cole Palmer ahead of their next Premier League faceoff with Liverpool.

Neville warned Palmer that unlike other clubs the Blues have played so far this season in the English top-flight, Liverpool won’t allow him to have any joy when both they meet at Anfield.

Liverpool are scheduled to host the West London side in a Premier League tie on Sunday, October 20 in their first game after the international break.

Speaking ahead of the game, Neville warned Palmer that Arne Slot’s squad will be aggressive against him and test him.

Neville in a statement via NBC Sports said he always believe that Anfield is the toughest place to get space in England.

And considering how Palmer plays, and the way he always looks like he’s got time on the ball, Neville noted that it would be interesting to see the winger performs at Anfield and how Liverpool will attend to him.

“They won’t want to let him have any joy in the game and encouragement early on,” Neville added.

Meanwhile, the Blues were held to a draw against Nottingham Forest in their recent match and will hope to return to winning ways after the break.
