Chelsea linked with moves for midfielder

Chelsea are already making plans to make some new additions in the January transfer window despite the stockpile of players in their team.

While the club currently possess top qualities that has seen the likes of Pedro Neto, Joao Felix and Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall being unable to nail down a starting place yet, the Blues are working on signing new players.

A recent report has revealed the Blues now have their eyes on another midfielder, Andrija Maksimovic.

The 17-year-old has been at the centre of attention this campaign for Red Star Belgrade, and impressed when he played in their Champions League match last week against Serie A side Inter Milan.

A report via CaughtOffside disclosed that the West London club were part of a number of Premier League clubs who had scouts present at the game.

Chelsea were said to be delighted with what they saw from the midfielder.

It is no longer news that Chelsea now under Todd Boehly are determine to sign some of the top young players in world football before their rivals are able to get their hands on them.

Maksimovic mainly features as an attacking midfielder, which means he would be faced with competition for a place at Stamford Bridge.
