Amid the reports that Manchester United are making moves to sign a new manager to replace him, the club’s current coach Erik ten Hag said he has no doubt about the support at Old Trafford.

So far, Man United are said to hold interest in several managers including former Chelsea coach Thomas Tuchel, who is out of work.

Ahead of the club’s meet on their Tuesday, there are speculations that Ten Hag may be handed a sack and Tuchel or any other manager on their list could replace the Dutchman.

Amid the speculations, Ten Hag, however, does not expect that to be the case, at least publicly, as he said after Man Utd’s draw against Aston Villa that everyone at the club was ‘on the same page’.

When asked if he believed the Red Devils owners were still fully behind him, Ten Hag said he doesn’t have any idea that is different because they would have told him.

According to the Dutchman, himself and the Red Devils owners communicate, are open and transparent.

“I would say every day we talk, so I expect I will speak with them. We know what we are working through, it’s a long-term process,” Ten Hag said.
