Former Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel has decided on replacing Erik ten Hag at Man Utd if the Dutchman is sacked.

There are speculations that Ten Hag’s future will be decided one way or another on Tuesday when the club’s chiefs meet in London to assess the club’s start to the season amid the international break.

Ten Hag needed a quick start following a summer transfer window during which Man Utd approached several managers including Tuchel about replacing him.

However, the Dutchman had managed to retain his job after the Red Devils won the FA Cup against their rivals Manchester City.

While they finished at the 8th spot on the Premier League table last season, this season could be worse if Ten Hag remains at Old Trafford.

As of now, the Red Devils are seated outside the top ten on the log and recently suffered a shameful defeat to Tottenham Hotspur as well as a draw against Porto in the Champions League.

A report via Daily Express disclosed that Tuchel is open to moving to Old Trafford.

Tuchel is currently without a coaching job after leaving Bayern Munich at the end of last season.

His Bayern side won the Bundesliga title in 2022-23 but finished 18 points behind Bayer Leverkusen last term.
