Mason Mount opens up on how he felt when he was dropped by Tuchel vs. Wolves

Chelsea player, Mason Mount in a recent statement has opened up on he felt when  coach, Thomas Tuchel dropped him against Wolves.

Recall that Tuchel took over from Frank Lampard as manager at Stamford Bridge in January, however, the German tactician shocked a lot of Blues fans when he dropped Mount during his first game vs. the Wolves.

Mount in his statement disclosed that the coach dropping him during match put him to work harder as it was a point that Tuchel wants experienced players.

The 22-year-old star disclosed he felt it as one of the best things to ever happen to him.

Mount revealed something similar happened to him when he was on loan at Vitesse Arnhem when he was 18 when for the first couple of months he didn’t play at all.

“I had that motivation and that fire to want to get into the team. The first game with the manager coming in, he went for a more experienced team,” he said.

Mount revealed he wanted to get better and he was motivated by the action taken by the coach.

He also applauded Chelsea’s performance under Tuchel as he stressed that the Blues keep getting better as they keep training and worming hard.
