Liverpool top target finally reacts to speculation linking him with the Reds

Austria international Christoph Baumgartner has finally reacted to speculations linking him with a move to Liverpool.

Liverpool is currently in the transfer market for a midfielder after Georginio Wijnaldum signed for Paris Saint Germain PSG on a free transfer after not renewing his deal.

The Reds have been linked with some young talents across Europe, and Christoph Baumgartner’s name has continued to appear.

Baumgartner performance at TSG Hoffenheim this season has seen him become one of the hottest prospects in Europe, and Liverpool are willing to take the shot.

He is valued at somewhere around £20m by his club, with this, we believe Liverpool will not be having any issue sorting out his transfer fee.

Speaking ahead of Austria last group match against North Macedonia, Baumgartner stated that in his career, he had already learned that the press will always link him to other clubs.

However, he does not deny that he likes hearing some of that, but at the moment, that’s not a topic at all for him as he’s fully focused on the tournament.

His recent statement is a sign that he might not be considering leaving his club for Liverpool or any other club this summer.
