In-form Seria A team approach Chelsea over potential loan deal for young defender

Serie A side AC Milan are ready to take Chelsea defender Fikayo Tomori on a six month loan as they hope to continue their good run of form in the league.

AC Milan have carried their good form into the new year as they are currently on top of the Italian league and they willing to sustain their position.

With Frank Lampard already given the green light that Tomori might be leaving for a greener pastures, AC Milan are ready to try and persuade him into moving down to Italy.

The arrival of Thiago Silva during the summer and the form of Zouma have seen Tomori play just 235 minutes of football across four appearances and he’s ready to move on.

According to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, AC Milan have made contact with Chelsea hierarchy to enquire about Tomori’s availability.

Though Strasbourg’s Mohamed Simakan is reported to be AC Milan first choice but the youngster have been linked with a lot of clubs across Europe and the Italian side are looking at the monetary aspect.

Milan boss Stefano Pioli is eager to dethrone Juventus as the Seria A winner and is also not giving up on winning the Europa league and has the backing of the board in the transfer window.
