Chelsea have been struggling since the festive period and are currently seated out of the top four in the Premier League table.

Their poor form saw them lose to Leicester City with 2 goals to nothing in their last outing in the Premier League.

These increased the pressure on Frank Lampard to get the best out of his team especially following a heavy budget in the summer transfer window or else risk losing his job to another manager.

Chelsea hierarchy were reportedly in talks with the likes of Thomas Tuchel among others to serve as a replacement for Lampard.

However, the Blues latest win over Luton Town in the FA Cup has eased the pressure on the English coach.

Chelsea had a great outing during the weekend as they defeated the visiting side in a 3-1 scoreline.

Tammy Abraham was exceptional as he gave the Blues a lead with two goals in the first 20 minutes of the game.

Chelsea could have won the match on a clean sheet but Kepa Arrizabalaga committed an error that made Luton score a goal in the first half.

However, Abraham made it 3 goals after he scores a third in the second half.

Lampard will now focus on how to win the Wolves in the Premier League this week so that the Blues can move higher on the table.
