France star signs 6 year contract at Chelsea

All is said and done for Christian Nkunku at Chelsea as the 25-year-old has penned a six-year contract, which will begin on 1 July with the Blues.

Nkunku arrived at Stamford Bridge this summer from German side RB Leipzig after Chelsea had previously reached an agreement with him.

He is expected to be their striker especially as Kai Havertz has been tipped with a departure from Chelsea, with Arsenal being his likely destination.

‘I am incredibly happy to be joining Chelsea,’ Nkunku in a statement via the club’s website.

‘A big effort was made to bring me to the club and I am looking forward to meeting my new coach and teammates and showing the Chelsea supporters what I can do on the pitch.

‘Having played in Ligue 1 and the Bundesliga, I now want to play in the Premier League, one of the strongest leagues in the world. I am very excited for this challenge and will be proud to wear the Chelsea shirt.’
