Former Manchester United player, Jesse Lingard, is set to be the latest player to move to the Saudi Pro League.

This comes as reports claim Lingard is close to teaming up with former Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson at Saudi Arabian side Al-Ettifaq.

The former Red Devils star has been available on a free transfer since leaving Nottingham Forest at the end of the last campaign.

He spent time training with DC United and West Ham United over the past couple of weeks.

As of now, Linger is training with Saudi Pro League club Al-Ettifaq with the anticipation of bagging a full-time contract.

A report via 90min revealed that Al-Ettifaq have started the process of handing Lingard a new contract.

According to the reports, the Saudi club are willing to offer Lingard a deal if he can prove his fitness at their facilities over the next few weeks.
