Napoli star told to join Chelsea or Real Madrid

Former Rangers star, Ally McCoist, has advised Napoli striker Victor Osimhen to turn down a permanent move to the Saudi Pro League and instead join one of Chelsea or Real Madrid.

Osimhen, who played a key role in Napoli squad last season is considered one of the most sought-after strikers in the world.

The Nigerian star helped Napoli lift their first Serie A title in 33 years, scoring 31 goals across competitions.

However, Osimhen could force an exit from Napoli next January as he is said to be reserving his right to take legal action against his own club due to a seemingly derogatory TikTok video about him.

“He can’t go to Saudi Arabia! He has been playing in a top team, he is some player,” McCoist said on talkSPORT.

“He is the real deal and he should be going to Chelsea or Real Madrid.”

When asked about Osimhen’s treatment at Napoli, McCoist added, “It’s bizarre what is happening there. I mean, you’d have to think that it is something strange going on there and the social media of the club.”
