Former Chelsea manager reveals the only thing Frank Lampard must not lose at the club

Former Chelsea manager Avram Grant has given Frank Lampard his backing as the Blues manager continue to get under the spotlight for his team bad performance.

Despite spending huge fortunes during the summer transfer window, Frank Lampard has not been able to convince fans of his capabilities as the Blues have lost four of their last six matches.

The Blues finished fourth in Lampard’s first season in charge in 2019-20 and more are expected of him this season due to the players he brought in during the transfer window.

Avram Grant who was sacked just days after guiding Chelsea to the Champions League final in 2008 has now advised Lampard on what he has to do so as not to lose his job.

Grant in an Instagram post stated that Lampard needs to be strong when things are not going well as when things are going well everyone is a genius and knows what to do.

He noted that in a situation the Blues have found themselves, they need to look for solutions and show a lot of character.

Not leaving any stone unturned, Grant stated that what he can say to Lampard and others at the club is be patient and do whatever is necessary.

He should not lose his fighting spirit at the highest level.
