Former Chelsea coach, Sarri signs new deal with Lazio
Former Chelsea and Juventus manager, Maurizio Sarri has finally been handed a new job after months away from coaching duties.
The reports revealed that Sarri has reached an agreement with Lazio to be their new manager.
The Italian will resume the new role next season.
Il Corriere Dello Sport claimed an official announcement could be made later Today.
It further claimed that both sides have agreed on salaries, with Sarri offered a deal worth around €3m a season over the next two years.
As expected Giovanni Martusciello will be moving to the new club with Sarri.
It is no hidden fact that Martuscuello has formed a good bond with Sarri and has remained his loyal assistant since his stints at Empoli, excluding the Italian one season at Chelsea.
With Sarri arriving in Italy next season, the Italian Seria A will be one league to watch out for in Europe as it will come with massive competitions from coaches especially as former Tottenham Hotspur coach, Jose Mourinho will also be joining AS Roma next season.
Sarri was Chelsea former coach where he gained ground with his pattern of football known as Sarri ball, he was however sacked and replaced by Frank Lampard.
