Fernandez names opponents who get confident when playing against Chelsea

Chelsea midfielder and Argentine star Enzo Fernandez in a recent statement stated that Aston Villa goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez gets overconfident when playing against the Blues.

Fernandez made this comment about his fellow Argentine while speaking to ESPN.

This is coming ahead of Chelsea’s next game vs Aston Villa on Friday 26 January in the FA Cup fourth round.

Fernandez and Martinez are expected to face each other when they play for their respective clubs.

“Facing Emi on Friday in the FA Cup? He’s quite cocky, forget about it. He always gets overconfident with Chelsea.

“I don’t know what he has against us. Haha.

“But well, hopefully, it will be a great match, and, obviously, we can win. It will be special.”
