Experienced defender reveals plan of creating a legacy at Chelsea by winning more trophies

Brazilian defender Thiago Silva is ready to defy his age by winning numerous trophies with the Blues and creating a legacy of his own in the London club.

The Brazil international is the most decorated member of Chelsea squad and his ambition this season is not only to add to his bulging trophy cabinet but to continue making an impression on the less experienced players around him.

The former Paris Saint-Germain defender has been impressive ever since he came in, forming a formidable partnership with Kurt Zouma who has improved in his all round game

Speaking on his plan for Chelsea, Silva stated that he tries to leave a mark at any club he plays, noting that he left his mark at RS at the start of his career, then at Juventude, then after at Fluminense, then Milan and Paris, and he would ensure the trend continue at Chelsea.

According to the 36 years old defender, this is his focus and plan, and he’s so scared of letting down people who showed so much belief in him.

This is the major reason why he aims to work hard and focus a lot on his opponents so that he can make as few mistakes as possible in games to help the team perform really well.

He added that the choice to join Chelsea wasn’t hard.

Silva who have won numerous trophy in his career noted that winning the Premier League with Chelsea will be a dream come true as he would also love to win the UEFA Champions League with the blues.
