EPL release shortlist for Player of the Year award

As the season draws to an end, the English Premier League has revealed its shortlist for the Player of the Year award.

Chelsea had a tough season which saw them drop out of the top six on the league table and as such no player from the club made the list.

Two Manchester City made the list and they are Erling Haaland and Kevin De Bruyne.

Arsenal’s Martin Odegaard and Bukayo Saka were also nominated.

Tottenham Hotspur were represented by Harry Kane, while Marcus Rashford from Manchester United bagged a nomination.

And lastly, Newcastle United’s Kieran Trippier also made the final list.

Martin Odegaard – Arsenal

Marcus Rashford – Manchester United

Bukayo Saka – Arsenal

Trippier – Newcastle.

Meanwhile, Man City are favourite to win the EPL title again this season. They also stand the chance of winning the FA Cup and UCL title.
