The Blues have allegedly completed the signing of Bayer Leverkusen star Kai Havertz and are getting ready to make an announcement.

The West London club have just made five signings this year and are hoping to further reinforce their squad ahead of the 2020-21 season.

Kai Havertz has been unequivocally connected with a move to Stamford Bridge lately and, as per Fabrizio Romano, a deal is currently over the line.

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano claims that the 21-year-old agreed personal terms with Chelsea a week ago and the Blues have matched Leverkusen’s valuation.

However, Kai Havertz is probably still to need to undergo medical, which is the last obstacle to clear before an official announcement can be made.

Talking on Monday, Bayer Leverkusen boss Peter Bosz affirmed that he doesn’t expect Kai Havertz to play for the German club once more.

Kai Havertz will become Chelsea’s 6th signing of 2020, after signing Timo Werner, Hakim Ziyech, Ben Chilwell, Thiago Silva and Malang Sarr.
