Deal agreed for Bundesliga playmaker as Chelsea target Ajax pair

The most recent transfer rumour from Stamford Bridge as Frank Lampard hopes to sign quality top players in Europe and the Premier League

Chelsea have just begun their transfer work for the summer, the Blues already signed Hakim Ziyech from Ajax and Timo Werner from RB Leipzig.

However, they appear to be probably not going to stop there, with defensive fortifications next on the plan and rumours over a deal for  Kai Havertz continues, just as the need to offload various players.

Lampard’s team earned Champions League football for next season through a top four completion, but they also lost the FA Cup final and indicated how distant Europe’s world class they are in their 7-1 defeat by Bayern Munich.

Chelsea boss says he knows where the team can improve, so it’s dependent upon the club to figure out how to make those upgrades.

Ajax team could replace huge cash targets

Chelsea and Ajax have just finished one deal with Hakim Ziyech’s previously mentioned move, but two more could yet follow.

Chelsea need Ben Chilwell and Jan Oblak as their best option signings for left-back and goalkeeper respectively, but both have such colossal price tags on them that Chelsea may need to look somewhere else.

Nicolas Tagliafico and Andre Onana are accepted to be the choices for Frank Lampard’s side to pursue, with a £70m contrast in cost between Andre Onana and the £100m-rated Jan Oblak.

Ajax have already guaranteed Nicolas Tagliafico can leave this summer if an offer comes in, while Leicester City are standing firm on a valuation of above £80m for England left-back Ben Chilwell.

Hakim Ziyech, Andre Onana and Nicolas Tagliafico were all piece of the Ajax team which made it to the Champions League semi-finals in 2019.

Kai Havertz contract agreed

Kai Havertz adventure looks set to proceed for some time still, not least in light of the fact that the Germany playmaker is anticipated to play for Bayer Leverkusen in the Europa League.

The Bundesliga side have just expressed no moves will be made until their season has ended, which means the Stamford Bridge order should show restraint in their dealings with the club.

However, report say terms are as of now agreed with the 21-year-old.

Kai Havertz has supposedly agreed a five-year contract with Chelsea, making it clear they are the side he needs to join this summer.

Bayern Munich and Liverpool had both been connected but ultimately ruled themselves no longer available this summer because of the financial vulnerability confronting most clubs.
