Chelsea target given one condition to continue to play in Europe
Italian football agent, Silvio Pagliari has advised Portugal international Cristiano Ronaldo to lessen his current wages if he wants to continue playing football in Europe.
Pagliari in a statement said it does not make sense for any club to sign the 37-year-old Portugal captain on his current wages.
Ronaldo became a free agent after he had over half a year of his deal with Manchester United terminated last month following his explosive interview.
Aside from Chelsea who have been linked with moves for the Portugal stat since last summer, Saudi Arabian club, Al Nassr are the only side to have shown serious interest in signing him and Pagliari explained that he is not worth investing in anymore.
Pagliari told CalcioMercato, “At those figures, he [Cristiano Ronaldo] is no longer worth investing in, it doesn’t make sense and there isn’t a European team that can afford to sign him.
“Either he decides to downsize or he will end his career in some happy oasis.”
