Man Utd star speaks about his future at Old Trafford
Christian Eriksen in a recent statement expressed uncertainty about his future at Manchester United
The football star admitted he would not have any say over if he would stay put at Old Trafford after this season or not.
Amid the Red Devils’ poor start to the Premier League this season, Eriksen has been one of the standout performers in manager Erik Ten Hag’s squad.
Recall that the Denmark star had a challenging time securing playing minutes last season and was linked with several moves away from Manchester in the recent summer transfer window.
The 32-year-old appears to have regained in spot in the squad in the current campaign, having already made nine appearances in all competitions, scoring three goals and as many assists during that period.
However, Eriksen’s future with Manchester United is still far from certain.
The Dane is in his last year with the Red Devils and unless he extends his deal, he would be a free agent at the end of the season.
Speaking ahead of Man United’s Europa League match against Fenerbahce on Thursday, Eriksen was questioned about his future with the club.
The Dane said he is enjoying his time at Old Trafford, however if an offer comes for him in the summer he would take it serious.
