Chelsea suffer transfer blow as Crystal Palace says player not for sale
Crystal Palace manager Patrick Viera has ruled out moves for Wilfred Zaha this summer as he said he is not leaving the club.
Viera in a statement dismissed speculation that the winger could leave Crystal Palace before the transfer deadline.
This comes after Zaha was linked with late transfer moves to Chelsea and Arsenal.
Following the Crystal Palace 1-1 draw with Brentford in the Premier League on Tuesday, Vieira spoke about the speculation linking Zaha with a transfer away from Selhurst Park.
“I think there’s no comment to be made on that. I see him training every day and he didn’t mention anything about leaving.
“He’s always concentrated on performing well for the team because he wants to win games for this football club.
“There’s a really nice relationship between this football team and Wilfried Zaha, it’s not going to stop now,” he said.
With some hours left to the end of the summer window, many clubs are rushing off to complete transfers for interested players.
