Chelsea star believes they can turn things around in Spain vs Real Madrid

Chelsea star and England international Mason Mount is not giving up on the chances in the UCL, especially after their 3-1 defeat to Real Madrid on Wednesday night.

Mount believes the Blues can still turn their fortune around when they face the Los Blancos in the second leg in Spain.

He, however, admitted it is a massive mountain the Blues must be ready to claim.

Mount also spoke on their weakness in the defence, which brought about their defeat.

He said in a post-match statement, ‘This is football, anything is possible. We have to give it everything,’ he explained. ‘We know how tough it will be. We need to regroup, attacking every game 100 per cent.

‘Every game is a final now. We have a massive mountain to climb but we are Chelsea and if there is a team that can do it, it is us. We will give it everything as we have that hunger and desire to really accomplish something.’
