Chelsea’s newest signing Kalidou Koulibably has penned a farewell message to Napoli as he commenced a new season in the EPL.

This comes as the Senegalese further confirmed his transfer to Chelsea.

Before signing a deal with the Blues, Koulibably had on different occasions been linked with a move to Liverpool, Manchester United and other top European clubs.

This is because he is considered as one of the best defenders in the world.

Koulibaly, now 31, comes to Chelsea as replacements for Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen at Stamford Bridge after they left Chelsea this summer for Real Madrid and Barcelona, respectively.

The Senegal star joins the Blues on a staggering reported five-year deal and will earn £160,000-a-week.

He wrote on Instagram, “Thanks to you Naples I have become the man I am today…
