Chelsea midfielder’s move to Saudi done
Chelsea are close to bidding goodbye to their midfielder and France international N’Golo Kante, who is set to join Saudi Arabian side Al Itiihad this summer.
Kante whose contract with Blues end this summer was previously said it be considering an extension, however, with the look of things the Frenchman could be playing in Saudi next season.
Journalist Ben Jacobs in a report confirmed that Kante is heading to Saudi Arabian club Al Itiihad, where he would join Karim Benzema who recently left Real Madrid.
Speaking directly to GIVEMESPORT, Jacobs said: “Kante to Saudi Arabia is a done deal. He, as I revealed earlier this week, will be joining Al Ittihad along with Karim Benzema.
If all costs are considered – so that’s base salary, that’s commercial opportunities, that’s bonuses, that’s image rights, and that’s other incentives, then he could potentially earn around about €100m [£86m] a year which is incredible.”
