Chelsea goalkeeper tipped to leave this summer
Popular transfer expert Fabrizio Romano in a statement has said that Senegal goalkeeper Edouard Mendy could leave Chelsea for a new club this summer.
According to Romano, Mendy’s future at Stamford Bridge could hinge on who emerged as the club’s next permanent manager.
While Mendy’s current deal with Chelsea doesn’t expire until 2024, the Senegal star, however, could be sold by the West London club this summer transfer window.
Speaking about Mendy’s future at Chelsea, Romano, in a tweet via his Twitter handle on Friday, wrote: “Edouard Mendy could leave Chelsea at the end of the season in case of a good proposal for both sides, still waiting on new coach final decision on GK situation.
“Mendy signed last week with Lian Sports agency; Fali Ramadani will be the new agent taking care of his future.”
Aside from Mendy, Kepa Arrizabalaga has also been tipped to leave Chelsea this summer, with clubs already eying new goalies to bring on board.
