Chelsea confirms departure of experience forward after signing long-term contract
Premier League outfit, Chelsea have finally confirmed the departure of Michy Batshuayi on a season-long loan move to Besiktas.
Batshuayi arrived in Chelsea from Marseille in 2016 but he has not been able to bag a starting spot in the team.
He was loaned out on loan to Crystal Palace last season after he fell down in the pecking order later due to the form of Tammy Abraham, Olivier Giroud and Timo Werner.
This season was meant to be his breakout season but the arrival of Romelu Lukaku from Inter Milan for a fee of £97.5million means he will have to leave the club on another loan deal.
Batshuayi has now move to Turkey in a bid to revive his career at Stamford Bridge where he scored 25 times in 77 appearances.
However, Batshuayi before moving to the Turkish giants, signed a contract extension at Stamford Bridge, making him a permanent Chelsea player until 2023 at least.
Batshuayi could be making his debut with the
Istanbul-based club on Saturday as they have an away match against Gaziantep.
The Belgium international will be eager to make a mark for himself in the Turkish league as he joins the list of Chelsea players sent out on loan.
