Amid Chelsea moves this summer transfer window, they are still not consider a contender for the Champions League.

This is according to former Chelsea defender, William Gallas who recently stated that the Blues are not even good enough to qualify for the European top League.

To compete in the Champions League, the west London side will need to ensure they finish within the top four in the league.

However, this has been difficult for Chelsea to achieve in the past two seasons.

The Blues finished outside the Champions League place despite spending billions of pounds on signing players under their new owner Todd Boehly.

They have signed new players this summer and Gallas opines that they still don’t stand a chance.

Gallas expressed concern over the state of the squad, suggesting that Chelsea still need to add quality in order to stand a chance.

The former defender in a statement via Genting Casino said that even though it’s preseason, he is concerned about Chelsea and more concerned when he looks at their current squad.
