Amid the ongoing summer transfer window, Arsenal have been advised to make a move for another player before deadline.

This comes as former defender William Gallas sent a message to Mikel Arteta led Arsenal side to consider making a move for Manchester City striker, Julian Alvarez.

According to Gallas, Alvarez is a world champion, who would take the North London side to ‘the next level’.

Recall that Arsenal had been linked with a move for the Argentina star this summer.

The Gunners, who have bolstered their defence after they recently signed Italian defender Riccardo Calafiori from Bologna, are also planning on improving their attacking options ahead of the new season.

Gallas in a statement via Genting Casino believes Alvarez would be a great signing for Arsenal.

Alvarez has experience winning trophies having won the World Cup, Copa America winner, won the Premier League twice in a row and the Champions League.

Should the Gunners seal a move for Alvarez, who has limited game time at Man City, it would be a boost for Arsenal.

The Gunners have failed to win the Premier League title, having come close to winning it two times in a row.
