Belgium international and Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku has hinted at unhappiness at Stamford Bridge.

This comes as Lukaku shared a cryptic post on Snapchat, which has raised speculations that he may not be happy at Chelsea.

Chelsea in the summer spent a whooping sum of  £97.5m to bring the 28-year-old striker back to the club from Inter Milan, but he has struggled to perform consistently.

Lukaku had earlier admitted he was hoping to return to Inter Milan during an interview with Sky Sports as he stressed that he was unhappy at Chelsea.

He would later apologise and regain the trust of coach  Thomas Tuchel.

Lukaku, however, is still not completely popular with the Chelsea fanbase, and he posted a message on Snapchat on Friday, which may have conveyed further frustrations.

Lukaku’s post read: “If you have to force it, then it probably doesn’t fit,” after he had also referenced his struggles to adapt to Tuchel’s system during his controversial interview.

The Belgian striker scored the lead goal against Al-Hilal in the Club World Cup semi-finals.

So far this season, Lukaku has scored only nine goals in 26 matches across all tournaments.
