The latest reports have revealed that the German side, Bayern Munich, have opened a deal for Germany international and Chelsea defender Antonio Rudiger.

Recall that Rudiger has been linked with moves away from Stamford Bridge over failure to accept a new contract with the Blues.

The German defender will see his current contract with the Blues lapse at the end of this season.

Despite the Blues willingness to keep him at the club, it appears Rudiger is ready to leave, and the club management is prepared to cash in on his sales as well in the January transfer window.

The report from Germany claimed Bayern Munich have been in touch with his agent and brother, Sahr Senesie, but the talks are purely sketchy at this stage.

Bayer Munich considers the 28-year-old defender to be a suitable replacement for Niklas Sule, who has also been linked with moves to Chelsea, and it could happen in the summer.

In the same vein as Rudiger, Sule’s current deal is expected to lapse at the end of this season, and he has refused to put pen to paper to extend his contract.
