Arsenal icon heaps praises on club’s transfer target

Former Arsenal defender Bacary Sagna has heaped praise on Achraf Hakimi who has been linked with the club ahead of the summer transfer window.

Hakimi has become one of the top targets for Arsenal as they are willing to replace Hector Bellerin who have also been linked with a move away from the club.

Though Bellerin has been at Arsenal since 2011 and he has been linked with a return back to Spain and the Gunners will likely cash in on him in the summer.

With Hakimi on top of Arsenal’s target, Sagna believes the former Real Madrid defender is a perfect match for the gunners as his development have been exceptional.

Speaking to Goal.com, Sagna stated that Hakimi is never tired, he’s always going forward as he’s so fast.

According to Sagna, he was surprised when he saw him playing for Madrid because for him, Hakimi was not that good but you could see the potential, but he never expected him to do as well as he is doing now.

Mikel Arteta’s team are currently struggling in the Premier League as they are languishing in ninth place.
