Former Arsenal star, Ian Wright, has applauded three players Martin Odegaard, Declan Rice and David Raya after a 2-0 win at Wolves.

Leandro Trossard put the Gunners in the lead with a goal before the half time, before Odegaard added a late second to secure all three points for the Blues.

The victory saw Mikel Arteta’s side return to the top of the Premier League after 33 matches.

Wright in a tweet via X social media platform after the game wrote: “Job done! Analysis can come tomorrow! Important three points, result from all that mattered. Declan, Raya, Odegaard.”

Arsenal will now focus on their next match will be at home against a difficult side Chelsea.

Should they win at the Emirates, a four-point gap could be opened between them and Manchester City.

However, they will have to hope Man City lose to Brighton when they meet. This is because the Citizens have a game at hand and still have a good chance of unseating the Gunners at the top.

Winning the Premier League is Arsenal’s last chance of ending the season with a trophy.
