Former Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere has been offered a job by Wigan Athletic after he admitted he had no offers on the table.

Jack Wilshere in his early days was tipped as the next big thing to happen to football but injury has not allow the England international to fulfill his potential.

The England star became a free agent this summer after Bournemouth chose not to extend his contract.

Wilshere during an interview has now revealed hos sad it is to termed injury prone noting that his future may lie abroad, where he is not stigmatised as injury-prone.

However, luck shined on Wilshere as Wigan chairman Talal Al Hammad handed Wilshere a much-needed lifeline.

Talal Al Hammad took to Twitter to share his reactions writing that Wilshere is welcome to join the club.

Wilshere remains one of the best Arsenal youth product as he went on to win two FA Cups with the London club.

He had made 274 senior appearances at club while he earned 34 caps for the Three Lions, the most-recent of which came in 2016.

He featured 17 times for Championship club Bournemouth in the second half of the 2020/21 campaign before the Cherries announced they would be releasing him.
