EPL: One Man Utd player that will be unavailable vs Arsenal
Manchester United will on Thursday night host Arsenal at Old Trafford in the English Premier League.
Ahead of the match, Man Utd caretaker Michael Carrick has confirmed that France international Raphael Varane will be unavailable for the game.
Carrick in his pre-match statement, said the France international is currently rehabilitating in order to recover fully from injury.
Varane sustained a thigh injury against Atalanta in the Champions League last month.
The Frenchman was unavailable during Man United’s Premier League 1-1 draw with Chelsea last weekend.
“Yeah, Rapha’s rehab is going really well,” Carrick said.
“He’s out on the grass, but it won’t be any time this week by any stretch; it will be a little bit further than that, if not even longer.
“He’s on course [though], which is good.”
Man Utd will hope to win against the Gunners, who equally needs the point to move back to the top four on the EPL table.
In another news, Man Utd will hope their interim manager Ralf Rangnick will be available to coach the club in their match.
